Renovation Crew

Location: Multiple Properties

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $25 – $28 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

Prime is seeking a reliable, skilled, and hands-on Renovation Crew member to support our renovation program for vacant apartments across our residential portfolio. This role is directly involved in renovating and preparing units between residents, so every new resident moves into a home that feels fresh, comfortable, and well cared for. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting, working with their hands, and solving problems, and takes pride in a job well done.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to renovate vacant apartments from start to finish, following each unit's renovation scope and schedule
• Help order and track materials, fixtures, appliances, and supplies needed for each renovation
• Demo and remove existing fixtures, cabinets, appliances, and countertops
• Repair and prepare walls, surfaces, and connections ahead of new installations
• Install electrical and plumbing fixtures
• Install cabinets, countertops, and appliances
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized, and properly dispose of demo debris
• Coordinate with the property management team to keep renovations on schedule and communicate progress
• Assist with special projects and capital improvements as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience in one or more trades: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, locksmithing, painting, landscaping, or janitorial
• Strong customer service skills—you take pride in being friendly, respectful, and helpful
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, prioritize tasks, and follow through
• A team player who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on, active role that requires:

• Regular standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing, and use of tools
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs., with assistance provided for heavier loads
• Working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
