Renovation Projects Carpenter

Kildare Renovations is a residential renovation company based in St. John’s, NL. We work on residential renovation projects throughout St. John’s and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
• Perform skilled carpentry work, including measuring, cutting, assembling, installing, framing, finishing wood, and other building materials; install beams, subflooring, walls, windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, hardware, and other residential components as required.
• Identify materials required for assigned work and coordinate material needs with the Project Manager/Foreman.
• Follow project plans, schedules, and instructions.
• Maintain job site safety and ensure company safety rules are followed.
• Work with other trades and renovation team members as required.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Take care of company tools, equipment, and materials.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of residential construction/carpentry experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and measurements.
• Good knowledge of residential construction methods and materials.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Travel between residential job sites in St. John’s and surrounding areas.
• Must be able to pass a criminal record check.

Expected hours: 42.5 per week

Experience:

• residential carpentry : 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• driver's licence (preferred)
