Renovation Technician

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Renovation Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of renovation, remodeling, and building projects with precision and efficiency. Duties

• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute renovation tasks.
• Install building materials such as drywall, stucco, tile, flooring, cabinets, doors, windows, and trim carpentry components.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks including framing, caulking, plastering, and drywall installation.
• Conduct plumbing and electrical work as needed for remodeling projects while adhering to safety protocols.
• Manage hardscaping construction projects including stonework, pavers, and outdoor hardscape features.
• Perform glass installation, door hanging, window installation, and cabinetry setup with precision.
• Use construction management software like Bluebeam for project documentation and communication.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes; conduct inspections throughout the project lifecycle.
• Operate heavy equipment when necessary for site preparation or material handling on outdoor projects.
• Collaborate with team members to interpret technical drawings and adapt plans as needed during construction or restoration efforts.

Experience

• Proven experience in building construction or renovation projects with a strong background in remodeling or restoration work.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction estimating and managing project timelines.
• Experience with drywall installation, stucco application, tiling, flooring installation, and carpentry including frame carpentry and trim work.
• Familiarity with plumbing systems, electrical wiring basics, glass installation, cabinet mounting, door hanging, and window fitting.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately for precise execution of tasks.
• Outdoor work experience preferred for hardscaping projects; ability to adapt to various weather conditions is essential.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites; commitment to maintaining a safe working environment at all times.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
