Renovation Technician

Overview

As a Renovation Technician, you’ll help transform residential and commercial spaces through hands-on repair, remodeling, and installation work. You’ll read construction plans and technical drawings, prepare work areas, select appropriate materials, and complete projects with care. Work may take place indoors or outdoors and can include hardscaping construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry, trim carpentry, drywall, plastering, and stucco work; apply caulking and finish surfaces as needed
• Install windows, doors, cabinets, flooring, and tile; complete building material installation and related repairs
• Support plumbing and electrical tasks within your qualifications and project requirements
• Use hand tools, power tools, and, when qualified, heavy equipment; follow safety protocols on every job site
• Assist with construction inspection, estimating, and construction management tasks, including reviewing plans and documenting progress

Requirements

• Construction experience, including construction site experience, building construction, or remodeling; outdoor work experience is useful
• Practical skills in carpentry, installation, and renovation work, including the ability to interpret technical drawings
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely; heavy equipment operation experience is preferred
• Reliable attention to detail, safe work habits, and readiness to contribute across varied project tasks

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
