About the Client

Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of engineered concrete solutions supporting major civil and infrastructure projects across Australia. They specialise in precast concrete products used in drainage, water, transport and structural applications, delivering durable and high-performance systems designed for demanding environments.

What You Will Be Doing

They are currently seeking MIG welders to join their team based in Swanbank. This is a long-term position, Monday to Friday from 4am – 12pm with overtime available. The successful candidate will be responsible for the below duties:

• MIG welding and fabrication of reinforcing steel (reo) cages and components for precast concrete products
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, reo schedules and fabrication plans to ensure work meets specifications.
• Setting up and operating MIG welding equipment, selecting appropriate settings and welding techniques for the task
• Measuring, cutting, positioning and assembling reinforcing steel to required dimensions and tolerances

What You Will Need

• Driver’s Licence + reliable transport
• Previous MIG welding experience (min 3 months)
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical + Drug & Alcohol Screen
