The Role

We are seeking a skilled Mobile App Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications. This part-time remote role is ideal for an experienced developer who can translate product requirements into responsive, secure, and intuitive mobile experiences while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable mobile applications for iOS, Android, or cross-platform environments.
• Build clean, maintainable, and reusable application components.
• Translate business and product requirements into functional mobile solutions.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, databases, and cloud-based technologies.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, reliability, and usability.
• Conduct testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance improvements.
• Identify and resolve technical issues throughout the application lifecycle.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product teams, QA specialists, and backend engineers.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
• Maintain technical documentation and support continuous application enhancement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software or mobile application development experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Strong experience with mobile development frameworks, SDKs, and development tools.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, Dart, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with APIs, databases, version control systems, and software development workflows.
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, responsive design, and application security.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks, debugging tools, CI/CD, and deployment processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to technical detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while communicating effectively with distributed teams.
• Professional certifications are not required unless relevant to the role.
