What they need
About the role The Reporting Analyst Assistant provides the analytical groundwork required to advise our client, a Sharjah-based entity, on their portfolio performance and governance. This role exists to ensure that every recommendation we make is supported by verified data and clear logical structures. You will translate complex information into simple reports that help principals form a view on critical business decisions.
About Arabian Private Holdings Arabian Private Holdings operates on the principle that significant corporate problems require direct attention from experienced partners. We do not use large teams or lengthy methodology decks to justify our presence. Instead, we focus on providing honest, independent advice to family groups, listed corporations, and government entities. Our goal is to help clients rationalize their portfolios and improve their operating models through rigorous analysis and clear communication. We prioritize the quality of our analysis and the strength of our relationships over traditional office overhead or aggressive growth targets. If a project is not a fit for our expertise, we are direct about it. If it is, we stay involved until the decision is made and the results are delivered.
What you will do
- Compile and verify data sets for ongoing corporate strategy mandates to ensure total accuracy.
- Monitor performance metrics for portfolio companies to identify trends, risks, or opportunities for improvement.
- Draft clear summaries that help principals form a view on specific business problems or investment decisions.
- Organize financial and operational information into structured report templates for regular client updates.
- Conduct desk research on industry benchmarks and regional economic factors affecting our Sharjah-based client.
- Assist in the review of governance frameworks to ensure they align with the client's long-term objectives.
- Maintain the accuracy of internal databases used for client presentations and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with the team to refine the clarity and logic of regular reporting outputs, removing unnecessary complexity.
What we are looking for
- A high level of curiosity regarding how large holding companies and government entities function.
- The ability to write in plain, precise English without using corporate jargon or empty filler words.
- Logical rigor when reviewing numbers and identifying inconsistencies or outliers in data sets.
- Basic familiarity with spreadsheets and tools used for data organization and visualization.
- A preference for clarity over complexity in all written work and verbal communication.
- Willingness to take direct feedback and iterate on reports until they meet the firm's standards for precision.
- An organized approach to managing information and meeting deadlines within a remote setting.
How we work We operate as a fully remote firm, valuing the quality of our output and the depth of our relationships over physical office presence. This structure requires team members who are disciplined, self-directed, and able to communicate effectively across digital platforms. While the work is remote, there is significant interaction between assistants and principals. We focus on mentoring through direct collaboration on active mandates, ensuring you learn how to think about corporate strategy from the top down. Our approach to governance is simple: we prioritize honesty and clarity, and we expect the same from everyone in the firm. We avoid the typical distractions of a traditional office environment to focus entirely on the mandates our clients have entrusted to us.
What the role offers
- A permanent, full-time position with a competitive pay structure that is attractive for the market and entry-level seniority.
- Exposure to the inner workings of significant regional family groups and government entities through active mandate support.
- Direct mentorship from experienced principals who are personally accountable for client outcomes.
- A fully remote work environment that prioritizes results, clarity of thought, and professional growth.
- The opportunity to build a strong professional foundation in corporate strategy and portfolio analysis.
