Reporting Analyst (Retail)

We’re looking for a Reporting Analyst to turn business data into clear, useful insights. You’ll develop reports and dashboards, maintain supporting documentation, and work closely with overseas stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.

This role requires an early start to align with their working hours.

Reporting & Analysis

• Develop and maintain regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards to support business decisions.
• Extract, transform and analyse data from different systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Present complex information through clear visualisations and explanations.
• Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver relevant reporting outputs.

Documentation & SOP

• Create and maintain clear documentation of reporting processes, procedures and work instructions.
• Keep user guides up to date as reports, tools and processes change.
• Write steps that are easy to follow, helping colleagues use reports correctly and access information independently.
• Support knowledge sharing through accurate and well-organised documentation.

Continuous Improvement & Projects

• Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy, stock integrity and reporting efficiency through automation and process improvements.
• Provide analytical and reporting support for projects involving different business functions.
• Improve reporting tools and visualisations to support changing business needs.
• Represent business needs in analytics projects, helping resolve data issues and turn findings into practical actions.

Collaboration & Communication

• Explain findings clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Work closely with Merchandise and other teams to maintain reliable and consistent data.
• Share knowledge and support colleagues in understanding and using reporting tools.
• Continue developing your analytical and technical skills.

What We’re Looking For

• Relevant experience in reporting and data analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Experience using Power BI to develop and maintain reports and dashboards.
• Familiarity with SAP, SAP BI or similar ERP and reporting platforms.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify connections across datasets.
• Experience preparing and maintaining clear process documentation and user guides.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisation skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• A proactive approach to work, including following up on outstanding items and taking ownership of tasks.
• The ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
• Able to work an early schedule to align with overseas stakeholders, with an earlier finish time to match.
