Reporting & Consolidation Lead

• Run the monthly and annual consolidation - intercompany eliminations, FX translation and ownership changes - and maintain the consolidation system; produce group and business-area consolidated results.
• Produce the group reporting pack: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, bridges and analyses, for management, Board and lender reporting.
• Own the group accounting manual, chart of accounts and mapping rules; lead complex and judgemental areas (revenue, impairment, provisions, M&A, new IFRS) and draft technical accounting memos.
• Own intercompany matching, elimination and netting rules, working with the business finance managers and the tax team.
• Bring new or changed entities into the consolidation; maintain consolidation mappings and master data.
• Prepare consolidation and technical schedules for audit and act as the key point of contact for auditors on group and technical matters.
• Lead and develop a team of two direct reports supporting group consolidation and reporting. [What you'll bring]
• Strong qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, CA, RA or equivalent) with deep IFRS consolidation and technical-accounting expertise.
• Significant experience (10+ years) in group consolidation and external / statutory reporting within a complex, multi-entity, multi-currency international group.
• Hands-on expertise with a consolidation system (e.g. Jedox, SAP Group Reporting)
• Proven ability to handle complex transactions (M&A, impairment, step-acquisitions, new standards) and to write clear technical memos.
• Confident acting as the group's technical reference and the auditors' counterpart.
• Fluent English and Mandarin. [Desirable]
• Experience onboarding entities or acquisitions into a consolidation.
