Reporting / Scheduling Specialist

This position is on-site based in Damascus Governorate, Syria.

Position Objective:

• Develop, maintain, and control project schedules across OSP, ISP, DC, and Exchange activities.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and standardized reporting to support project visibility and performance monitoring.
• Strengthen coordination between engineering, design, permitting, implementation, and contractor teams to ensure schedule readiness and alignment.
• Enhance reporting efficiency through automation, dashboards, and data integrity controls.
• Support management with analytical insights, KPI tracking, and executive-level summaries

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules covering all phases of OSP, ISP, DC, and Exchange implementation.
• Track daily, weekly, and monthly progress against the approved baseline schedule and identify variances.
• Prepare schedule forecasts, delay analyses, and recovery plans in coordination with project teams and contractors.
• Consolidate progress data from multiple regions, contractors, and departments into unified reports.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and KPI‑aligned progress reports for internal management and client stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, Excel trackers, and visual reports to enhance project visibility.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across ERP systems, client portals, and internal reporting tools.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, permitting, and implementation teams to ensure schedule readiness and alignment.
• Validate contractor progress submissions, schedules, and productivity reports before integration into master schedules.
• Monitor key KPIs such as installation progress vs targets, testing and acceptance rates, and productivity metrics.
• Support automation of reporting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
• Conduct schedule audits to identify discrepancies, missing updates, or misaligned data.
• Prepare executive‑level summaries, charts, and insights for management decision‑making.
• Track dependencies, constraints, and critical path activities to ensure proactive issue resolution.
• Support change management by assessing schedule impacts of scope changes, route modifications, and design updates.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely submission of progress reports, schedules, and supporting documents.
• Maintain historical data, trend analyses, and performance benchmarks for continuous improvement.
• Participate in internal and external coordination meetings to present schedule status and reporting insights.
• Ensure alignment between field progress, system updates, and reporting outputs across all domains.
• Manage the archive (soft and hard copies) of all project plans and schedules for reference and safekeeping

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in scheduling, reporting, or project controls within telecom or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling methodologies and tools (Primavera, MS Project, or equivalent).
• Hands‑on experience with Power BI, advanced Excel, and data visualization/reporting tools.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, client portals, and progress monitoring databases.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex data clearly.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict reporting deadlines.
• Experience in OSP/ISP telecom environments is a strong advantage.
