Duties

• Conduct vehicle recovery operations using tow trucks or other specialized equipment, ensuring safe vehicle loading and securement according to cargo protocols
• Execute vehicle repossession procedures efficiently, including locating vehicles through GPS or other tracking tools, verifying ownership details, and executing legal repossession steps
• Manage customer interactions professionally during recovery processes, addressing concerns with conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations
• Tow vehicles using appropriate methods such as vehicle mechanics for truck drivers or vehicle recovery towing techniques while maintaining compliance with safety regulations
• Load and unload vehicles carefully on tow trucks like flatbeds or other specialized carriers, ensuring proper cargo securement protocols are followed at all times

Skills

• Proficiency in car towing, vehicle recovery towing, and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks such as flatbeds
• Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle mechanics for truck drivers and basic vehicle troubleshooting skills
