Reprographics Assistant

Grade: D

Main Purpose of Job

To provide an efficient reprographic service to the school.

Duties and responsibilities:

Produce a wide variety of reprographic materials for staff and students.

Operate reprographics equipment for staff printing requirements.

Check the front office inbox and prioritise tasks as required.

Order stock for use in reprographics when required.

Maintain records of consumables for charging back to departments.

Check and replenish paper stock for all desktop and printers according to school routines.

Finishing document presentation, including trimming, binding and laminating

Basic design of school materials such as promotional leaflets and reward postcards

Follow manufacturer’s instructions for basic equipment maintenance and cleaning

Liaise with the relevant staff members about printing enquiries as required.

Develop technical and diagnostic skills to problem solve in relation to reprographics equipment.

Develop internal processes to ensure the efficiency of the department, liaising with line manager.

To carry out other related tasks as required.
