Requirements manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Requirements Manager to join our team in The Bronx, United States. In this role, you will serve as a critical bridge between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that project requirements are clearly defined, documented, and effectively communicated throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality requirements documentation that drives project success.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements from multiple stakeholders using structured elicitation techniques

• Create and maintain comprehensive requirements documentation, including functional specifications, use cases, and acceptance criteria

• Develop and manage traceability matrices to ensure all requirements are tracked, tested, and validated throughout the project lifecycle

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, quality assurance, and business analysts to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities

• Conduct requirements reviews and walkthroughs to ensure completeness, clarity, and alignment with project objectives

• Identify, analyze, and manage requirement changes using formal change control processes

• Utilize requirements management tools and systems to organize, store, and track requirements efficiently

• Monitor requirement status and provide regular updates to project stakeholders and leadership

• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance requirements management practices and methodologies

• Participate in project planning activities and contribute to realistic project timelines and resource allocation based on requirement complexity

• 3+ years of professional experience in requirements management, business analysis, or related project management roles

• Proven expertise in gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements across multiple project types

• Strong proficiency with requirements management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar platforms

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information for diverse audiences

• Advanced organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple requirements and stakeholders simultaneously

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments and build collaborative relationships

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience with traceability matrix development and requirements validation processes

• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies (preferred)

• Knowledge of change management and configuration management practices (preferred)

• Experience in software development, product management, or technology-driven environments (preferred)

• Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to identify trends and patterns in requirements data (preferred)
