Research Analyst

Good research is careful and honest, and we want an analyst who works that way. You would do research, evidence reviews, literature reviews, data analysis and report writing for federal health and policy work.

What your week looks like

• Searching the literature and pulling together what the evidence shows
• Screening studies, extracting data and judging study quality
• Analyzing data in whatever tool fits the question
• Writing reports and briefs a nonspecialist can follow
• Supporting systematic reviews and meta-analyses from protocol to write-up
• Checking AI assisted research tools against careful human work

What you bring

• A few years of research or analysis work in any related field
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residence

Nice to have

• A graduate degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health or information science
• Published systematic reviews, or Cochrane, Campbell or JBI methods training
• Evidence review work for AHRQ, CDC or VA
• Covidence, DistillerSR, R, Stata or SAS

Pay and hours

This is a part-time 1099 contract, fully remote within the U.S., at about 10 to 20 hours a week. Pay runs $40 to $65 an hour, set by your experience.
