About the role

Research and develop industrial wood coating formulas that meet customer and market requirements. This role involves developing, improving, and testing coating formulas, raw materials, and chemicals used in production, as well as conducting trial production and quality testing.

Key responsibilities

• Research and develop wood coating formulas to meet customer and market requirements
• Develop, improve, and test coating formulas, raw materials, and chemicals used in production
• Conduct trial production and test product properties such as adhesion, hardness, gloss, chemical resistance, and durability
• Analyze and resolve quality or product performance issues
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Control, and Technical/Sales departments to develop products
• Prepare experimental reports, product formulas, and related documentation
• Support trial production and introduction of new products into actual production processes
• Study new technologies and trends in industrial coatings and raw materials for continuous product development

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Polymer, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in R&D; experience in the coatings industry will be given special consideration
• Able to analyze and resolve formula and product quality issues
• Able to use laboratory tools and equipment
• Skills in experimentation, data analysis, and report preparation
• Able to work collaboratively with others and coordinate effectively with relevant departments

Working hours : Monday - Friday and 2 others Saturday
