Role & responsibilities

Technical & Product Development

• Lead end-to-end R&D activities for Coil Coatings products including Polyester, SMP, PVDF, PU, Primer, Back Coat, and Specialty Coatings.
• Develop innovative and cost-effective products aligned with customer and market requirements.
• Drive product localization and raw material optimization initiatives.
• Ensure timely development and commercialization of new products.
• Work closely with Sales, Production, QC, SCM, and Technical Service teams for successful project execution.

Innovation & Technology

• Identify emerging technologies, market trends, and competitor developments in the coil coatings segment.
• Drive continuous improvement and value engineering projects.
• Lead sustainability and eco-friendly product development initiatives.
• Introduce digitalization and process improvement practices within R&D operations.

Customer & Business Support

• Provide technical support to key customers and resolve product-related concerns.
• Participate in customer visits, technical discussions, and business development activities.
• Support new business acquisition through customized product solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor the R&D Coil team to build strong technical capabilities.
• Drive performance management, capability building, succession planning, and employee engagement within the department.
• Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
