Research and Development Coordinator

Provides technical and supervisory support in the implementation of research and test

development initiatives. The role involves leading key processes in item development,

coordinating project requirements, supervising Research Assistants, and ensuring the quality,

accuracy, and timely completion of assessment-related deliverables.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Product Development

• Leads the end-to-end implementation of research and test development initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and quality standards.
• Provides direction in the design, development, and validation of assessment frameworks, tools, and outputs.
• Oversees core technical processes, including item development, validation, pilot testing, and data analysis, in coordination with the Technical Team.
• Ensures the quality, integrity, and compliance of all assessment materials with psychometric standards, data security requirements, and organizational policies.
• Monitors project progress and drives continuous improvement, providing updates and
• recommendations to management.

2. External Engagement

• Coordinates with stakeholders and represents the R&D function in client engagements, including product presentations.
• Represents the R&D function in client engagements, including product presentations, technical discussions, and related activities.
• Supports organizational partnerships and collaborative initiatives related to assessment, research, and professional services.

3. Research Initiatives

• Leads and oversees organizational research and assessment initiatives aligned with strategic priorities.
• Provides direction in the development, implementation, and improvement of research-related frameworks, methodologies, and outputs.
• Reviews research findings and provides recommendations to support continuous improvement, innovation, and evidence-based decision-making.

4. Other Functions

• Manages and develops the R&D team through effective supervision, task delegation, and performance oversight.
• Provides updates, reports, and recommendations to supervisor regarding project status, operational concerns, and process improvements.
• Performs other related leadership and management functions as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Graduate of BS Psychology or any related social science course; Master’s degree is an advantage

2. With extensive experience in research, test development, or assessment management

3. Strong background in Psychometrics, Statistics, and Education

4. Proficient in statistical and data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, Jamovi, MS Excel)

5. Strong leadership, project management, and decision-making skills

6. Excellent oral and written communication skills

Working Conditions

• Hybrid work arrangement from Monday to Saturday; may be required to render paid overtime and work on weekends during peak periods
• May be assigned to fieldwork within or outside Metro Manila during weekdays or weekends

Pay: Php22,000.00 - Php27,000.00 per month
