Research and Development Coordinator

General Summary of Position - Supports R&D Department to ensure the efficient, timely and organized flow of the various Project Development phases from the inception of the project up until commercial production.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Track projects from receipt of new product brief through commercial production.

Daily interface with customers to provide status updates and timely communication of key information as it relates to new product briefs and proactive development projects.

Prepare submission paperwork, sample labels and coordinate shipping for all product submissions to customers

Follow up with certification bodies on the R&D project status , COC’s

Follow up with project handlers/ quality dept. on the jobs assigned by R& D manager.

Raising of purchase requisition and tracking of processing of payment with certification bodies

Maintain R&D Inventory stock/ store records

Maintain R& D library for technical Docs

Maintain records for issuance of release of control documentation to other departments

Interdepartmental follow up

Coordinate with HR& R&D guests for gate pass, travel, pick up and hotel booking arrangements.

Assist R& D manager and team on other administrative tasks as assigned

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
