Research and Development Engineer - Electrical

A. Research & Innovation

• Research new technologies, products, materials, cable designs, packaging, and applications.
• Conduct cost-benefit studies for new products, materials, and processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and cable regulations.

B. Product Development & Testing

• Coordinate product trials with the MES Team using new materials, designs, processes, and equipment.
• Conduct comparative testing of company products against competitors.
• Coordinate testing of new and existing products, materials, and cable designs.
• Facilitate product certifications with the QA Group.

. Presentations

• Prepare technical presentations on product studies, new technologies, and research findings.
• Present product comparisons based on cost, performance, and benefits to Manufacturing and Sales Teams.

D. Other Responsibilities

• Stay updated on product knowledge, technologies, and industry regulations.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the immediate superior.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Materials, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Research and Development, preferably in the wire and cable industry.
• Safety: Follow safety procedures and identify potential hazards.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to achieve company goals.
• Customer Focus: Understand and respond to customer needs and complaints.
• Integrity: Uphold company policies, ethics, and professional standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements in products and processes.

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
