Research & Development Section Manager

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering & Metallurgical engineering
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D, preferably in chemical, mineral, ceramic, or manufacturing industries.
3. Strong experience in product development, formulation, laboratory testing, and process optimization.
4. Experience in scale-up, production trials, and troubleshooting.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.
6. Willing to be placed in Rengasdengklok, Karawang.

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage R&D activities to support product development and business objectives.
2. Develop and improve new and existing products based on customer and market requirements.
3. Conduct research, laboratory testing, trials, and product evaluation.
4. Develop and optimize formulation, process parameters, and product specifications.
5. Lead scale-up and trial production from laboratory to production scale.
6. Analyze product performance and identify opportunities for quality, cost, and process improvement.
7. Prepare and maintain R&D documentation, technical reports, specifications, and testing standards.
8. Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Sales, and other departments in product and process development.
9. Lead problem-solving and root cause analysis related to product and process issues.
10. Manage and develop the R&D team, including work planning, performance evaluation, and technical development.
