Research and Development Trainee

Support the research and development team in product testing, evaluation, and validation of new and existing products. Conduct laboratory and performance tests, analyze test results, and prepare technical documentation to ensure products meet quality and technical standards. Assist in prototype development, troubleshooting, and process improvement while following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations. Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, and production teams to support product development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisted in the research, development, and testing of new and existing products to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.
• Conducted product testing, validation, and performance evaluations using established testing procedures and technical equipment.
• Collected, recorded, and analyzed test data to identify product performance trends and recommend improvements.
• Prepared technical reports, test documentation, and maintained accurate laboratory records.
• Supported prototype development by performing inspections, troubleshooting issues, and verifying product specifications.
• Collaborated with engineers, quality assurance, and production teams to resolve technical concerns and improve product reliability.
• Assisted in root cause analysis and implemented corrective actions for product defects identified during testing.
• Followed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), laboratory safety protocols, and quality management standards throughout testing activities.
• Maintained and calibrated testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
• Contributed to continuous process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance testing efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or any related field

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar R&D role or related field

• Basic knowledge of product testing and laboratory procedures.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of maintaining accurate records.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
