Research and Instruction Librarian

Do you enjoy partnering with faculty and students to support coursework, clinics, and scholarly research? We’re looking for a Legal Research and Instruction Librarian to deliver user-centered research instruction and high-level research support across the Law School community.

Our last hire in this role has since stepped into a larger role on our team, and we're looking for the next person to grow here. You’ll join a collaborative, service-driven team that values innovation, accessibility, and continuous improvement in research support and instruction.

What You’ll Do: 

• Design, deliver, and improve legal research instruction across the curriculum.
• Teach advanced legal research, specialized research, and legal technology topics; coordinate and deliver topic-specific workshops aligned with institutional goals.
• Staff the Research Help Desk and provide high-level reference support, helping users identify and use legal resources.
• Conduct in-depth faculty research and produce written documentation of findings; consult with faculty on legal technology for teaching.
• Collaborate with librarians to create and maintain research and bibliographic tools and to expand library services and digital learning resources, with attention to accessibility, privacy, and information/data literacy.
