Research Assistant I / II

Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation Centre Limited (ABIC) is a collaborative effort coordinated by the University of Hong Kong (HKU) undertaking R&D projects at the Hong Kong Science Park (HKSTP). The aim of ABIC is to develop new and disruptive technologies that will meet the needs of the healthcare sector and contribute to human health. Applications are invited for appointments as Research Assistant I/II (Neuro-oncology) (Ref.: H01/2026/082) for clinical development projects.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in science, biology, biomedical science or a related discipline with relevant work experience. They should demonstrate an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and be self-motivated and able to work independently in a research setting. They should have good laboratory techniques in molecular biology, animal handling and strong analytical skills. Prior experience in handling animal models and clinical specimens would be an advantage. The appointee will participate in neuro-oncology related research projects. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, handling and processing animal models or biospecimens, and performing other duties as assigned.
