Research Assistant (R&D)

1) Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and conduct scientific or engineering experiments for the development and improvement of new products at laboratory and prototype scales.
• Study, analyze, and develop formulations, materials, or technical processes to enhance product properties and ensure alignment with market requirements or industry standards.
• Collect and analyze experimental data and systematically prepare research reports.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Quality Control teams to facilitate technology transfer from laboratory development to actual production.
• Support laboratory testing and evaluation of material and product properties.
• Prepare and maintain experimental records and documentation in accordance with company standards and quality requirements.
• Participate in the preparation of documentation for product registration, such as test reports, technical documents, and supporting information for submission to the Thai Food and Drug Administration (Thai FDA).

2) General Responsibilities

• Maintain the organization, safety, and cleanliness of laboratory areas and equipment.
• Perform duties in compliance with the company’s quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Support internal audits and inspections or audits conducted by relevant external organizations or authorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop commercially viable innovations.
• Participate in the continuous development and improvement of work processes to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Biology, Biotechnology, Materials Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
• Experience in laboratory work, research, product development, or related Senior Projects, Theses, or Internships.
• Knowledge or training in ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO/IEC 17025, or GMP is an advantage.
