You monitor the progress of research projects and coordinate information between departmental sections, because research that arrives late or duplicated is research that did not happen. Landscape studies are the core product: conceptualising the study, analysing data from various sources, and delivering the analysis that drives overall campaign strategy and narrative. The associate’s name is on the finding when the strategy desk acts on it — which is why provenance discipline and source evaluation are standing duties, not aspirations.
