Research Data Scientist - AI/LLM & Multimodal Systems

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly innovative Research Data Scientist specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Multimodal AI systems to drive cutting-edge research and development initiatives. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of machine learning, deep learning, language technologies, computer vision, speech processing, and generative AI to design, develop, and evaluate next-generation intelligent systems.

This role is ideal for candidates with strong research backgrounds who are passionate about advancing the state of the art in AI through experimentation, publication-quality research, and real-world deployment of multimodal models

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor, Master's degree or PhD in: Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computational Linguistics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Related quantitative discipline

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Python
• PyTorch
• TensorFlow
• JAX (preferred)
• Experience with:
• Hugging Face
• LangChain
• LlamaIndex
• Vector databases
• RAG architectures
• Strong understanding of transformer architectures and foundation models.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed training environments.

Research Background

• Demonstrated research experience in at least one of the following specialization areas:
• Computer Vision, Multimodal AI, and Video Understanding
• Speech and Audio Processing
• Computational Linguistics and NLP
• Generative AI and Agentic Systems
• Strong publication, patent, or applied research portfolio is highly desirable.

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Research Data Scientist: 5 years (Preferred)
• AI / LLM: 4 years (Preferred)
• Multimodal evaluation: 4 years (Preferred)
