Research Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lab & Operations Management: Oversee daily lab functions, organize workspaces, manage equipment inventory, and handle procurement processes.
• Safety & Compliance: Implement and enforce Health & Safety protocols across all lab facilities.
• R&D & System Integration: Develop software (ROS/ROS2), integrate robotic hardware, and support prototype testing and field pilot demonstrations.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to student teams for capstone projects and competitive robotics events.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree (MSc) in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
• Technical Skills: Strong expertise in ROS / ROS2 , software development, and robotic hardware integration.
• Experience: Proven track record in building, testing, and troubleshooting robotic systems, as well as conducting lab/field trials.
• Preference : UAE Nationals.
