  • Collaborate with experts around the globe, both Seagate-affiliated and outside
  • Join an exciting cohort of students in a wide array of fields, including computer science, chemical & mechanical engineering, and biology.

About You

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Teamwork is a core competency at Seagate, so you must be able to work and communicate effectively with a diverse group of people

Your Experience Includes

  • Familiarity with principles of cryptography and systems security is essential
  • Experience with formal verification/theorem provers, particularly Rocq or Lean.
  • Have programming skills using one or more languages such as Rust, C, C++, or Python
  • Current MS or PhD student in computer science or a closely related subject and must be enrolled in Fall 2027 classes.

Location: Our Shakopee campus is located 25 minutes southwest of Minneapolis in a setting with a rural vibe – it overlooks a horse racing track and stables, yet it has great entertainment venues close by as well. If working out is your thing, the on-site fully equipped fitness center hosts wellness programs, tournaments and group workouts. Hungry? Seagate offers an on-site café with freshly sourced foods and specialty coffees, or if you prefer, drive to one of many restaurants just minutes away.

The estimated base wage range for this position is $29-$45/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
