Research Mathematician | $25/hr Remote

Position: Mathematics Research Specialist Algebraic Geometry

Type: Contractor Assignment

Compensation: $25/hr

Location: Remote

Commitment: At least 4 hours/day and up to 40 hours/week, with at least 4 hours overlap during PST business hours

Role Responsibilities

• Collaborate with specialized research teams on advanced mathematical formulations and foundational problems.
• Develop, critique, and refine complex mathematical proofs and theoretical frameworks in Algebraic Geometry.
• Identify structural patterns in proofs and formalize them into reusable mathematical specifications.
• Explain complex mathematical concepts clearly to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant research experience in Mathematics, Algebraic Geometry, Pure Mathematics, or closely related fields.
• Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in Algebraic Geometry and advanced mathematical reasoning.
• Strong record of peer-reviewed publications in leading mathematical journals.
• Strong experience with advanced proof development and theoretical analysis.
