Researcher, Wax Product Development

Job Responsibilities

1. Be responsible for material selection, formula compounding, customer promotion and qualification for wax products (e.g. polyethylene wax, polypropylene wax, microcrystalline wax, etc.).
2. Benchmark against popular commercial grades based on PetroChina’s in‑house products, track industry trends, and propose innovative ideas for new‑product R&D.
3. Analyze deficiencies encountered during customer application and provide corresponding solutions.
4. Communicate and coordinate with production, R&D and marketing teams to drive project progress on schedule.

职责描述：

1. 负责蜡制品（比如聚乙烯蜡，聚丙烯蜡，微晶蜡等）的选材，复配，客户推广认证等；

2. 根据中石油自有的产品，对标市场热门牌号，跟踪行业新动向，为新产品的研发提出自己的创新点；

3. 对客户使用过程中出现的不足进行分析，提出解决方案；

4. 和生产，研发，市场沟通协调，按时推进项目进展；

Job Requirements

1. Strong innovation awareness, hands‑on capability and problem‑analysis skills.
2. High sense of responsibility and solid execution capability.
3. Solid fundamental chemical theories and professional technical skills.
4. Sound knowledge of wax product properties, applications, market landscape (three mandatory requirements) and basic production processes.
5. Competent in writing project reports and delivering project presentations.
6. Ability to read and comprehend professional English literature smoothly (plus).
7. Good communication skills; capable of aligning demands and resources from multiple parties and properly arranging project schedules.
8. Master’s degree or above in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering; minimum 5 years of working experience, preferably 8+ years, with most professional experience within the wax‑product industry.

5. 较强的项目报告书写、汇报能力；

6. 能顺畅阅读并理解专业英语文献（加分项）；

7. 善于沟通，协调各方需求和资源，合理安排项目进度；

8. 化学化工专业硕士及以上学历，至少5年，最好8年以上的工作经验（其中必须大部分时间是在蜡产品行业）
