Job Purpose Under the direction of their manager, the intern will assist the Crisis and Security Consulting team in carrying out targeted public domain research on a range of topics and developing materials related to:

 supply chain risk management

 crisis management and business continuity

 labour unrest

 anti-bribery and corruption issues

 regulatory enforcement trends

 security risk management and best practice

Tasks and responsibilities Key tasks and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

 conducting targeted public domain and media research in English on complex risk-related issues

 providing, based on research, perspective on operational security, integrity and political risks associated with relevant regulatory and/or political developments

 assisting in the development of capability statements and other collateral requested by internal stakeholders

 staying abreast of business and political developments and trends in China and across the region, and regularly communicating and discussing these

Knowledge and experience Essential Applicants should be currently studying for a postgraduate degree OR in their last year of University studies (undergraduate) in international affairs, legal, political science, finance/accounting , risk management, economics, and related fields. They should meet the following requirements:

 Excellent written English

 Ability to conduct targeted research and provide synthesized research results

 Keen interest in developing an in-depth understanding of complex issues related to political, security and integrity risk in China

 Experience in a multi-cultural environment and demonstrated cross cultural awareness.

 Excellent time management and proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Office, and Word

Preferred  Chinese translation and interpretation skills
