Reservation Agent

• To accept reservations by phone, fax and e-mail.
• To reply to the reservation requests within 24 hours and to ensure that all clients/bookers receive a correct confirmation of bookings made.
• To pass on all complaints/comments received from customers/clients regarding the hotel, hotel services, etc. to the Reservations Manager immediately.
• To know all payment and cancellation conditions.
• To make reservations/cancellations/ modifications according to the current hotel company standards.
• To follow up payments for non-guaranteed reservations and to make sure that all clients/bookers are made aware of all booking conditions/policies and non-guaranteed reservations cancellation periods.
• To work with group rooming lists.
• To ensure proper filing of all documents and requests.
• To know the hotel’s occupancy forecast, key demand dates and key bookers/companies.
• To be fully aware of all activities taking place in the hotel, as well as to be fully familiar with the hotel and conversant with all hotel services and the opening & closing times of all outlets, their menus, etc.
• To answer all questions regarding reservations at the hotels, as well as all other questions about hotel facilities and services.
• To regularly consult the hotel’s blacklist to ensure no bookings are taken from blacklisted sources.
• To ensure that all reservations and guest profiles are completed as fully as possible when making a reservation and that appropriate explanatory/follow-up traces are left in for every booking
• To maintain confidentiality of the information directly related to the hotel’s activities and to not divulge such information outside the hotel

Work Location: In person
