Reservation Manager

About the role

As a Reservation Manager at JS Travel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless coordination of all reservations and bookings. You will be responsible for liaising with suppliers, managing bookings, optimizing costs, and maintaining the highest level of service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all booking requirements received from the Sales Department
• Recommend suitable alternatives when necessary and possible
• Send booking requests and reservation orders to various suppliers, including hotels, transporters, guides, and airlines
• Negotiate prices and terms to optimize costs
• Ensure all booking orders are up-to-date and accurate
• Ensure that the cost for each booking is respected and maintained for each file
• Collaborate closely with the Sales Department to understand booking requirements and customer preferences
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers to secure and confirm reservations
• Coordinate transfer services as needed for each booking
• Read and understand hotel and provider contracts

About you

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational skills, negotiation abilities, flexibility, discipline, punctuality, and an ability to work under pressure
• Service-minded approach, problem-solving skills, and adaptability
• Excellent command of English, both in speaking and writing
• French language is a plus
• Accurate data entry skills
• Previous experience in guest services is preferred
