Reservationist

Transdev in San Jose, CA is hiring a Reservationist to intercept customer calls and schedule transportation. We are seeking friendly, customer service-oriented people who are dedicated to safety.

Transdev is proud to offer:

• Starting pay $23.61/hour with progression to $25.59 at 5 years

(Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale)

Benefits include:

Vacation:

• 1 week ( 40 hours) paid vacation after 1 full year of service
• 2 weeks (80 hours) paid vacation after 2 full years of service
• 3 weeks (120 hours) paid vacation after 5 full years of service
• 4 weeks (160 hours) paid vacation after 20 full years of service

Paid Sick Leave:

• 5 days accrued per year of employment

Medical, dental, and vision benefits available following 60 days of employment, pension and 10 paid company holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answercustomercallsandinputrideinformationusingacomputerizedschedulingsystem.
• Enternewcustomerinformationandchangesintothesystem.
• Dataentryintospreadsheetsanddatabases.
• Communicatelatevehicleserviceandverifying“NoShows”withcustomers.
• Resolveservice-relatedcomplaints.
• Createdailyroutemapsofthereservationsforthedrivers.
• Otherdutiesasrequired.

Qualifications:

• HighschooldiplomaorGEDrequired.
• 2yearsreservationistorcustomerserviceexperience.
• Computerliterate
• Excellentcommunicationandlisteningskills.
• Mustbeabletoworkshiftsorflexibleworkschedulesasneeded.
• SubjecttoaDOTdrugtestingandphysicalifapplicable.DOTRegulation49CFRPart40doesnot authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
