Reservationist

Transdev in San Francisco, CA is hiring a Reservationist/Customer Service Representative to intercept customer calls and schedule transportation. We are seeking friendly, customer service-oriented people who are dedicated to safety.

• $23.00-$23.00 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale)

• Paid Sick Leave: 48 hours annually; medical, dental & vision after 120 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls and input ride information using a computerized scheduling system.
• Enter new customer information and changes into the system.
• Data entry into spreadsheets and databases.
• Communicate late vehicle service and verifying “No Shows” with customers.
• Resolve service-related complaints.
• Create daily route maps of the reservations for the drivers.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• 2 years reservationist or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Computer literate
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Physical Requirements The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Work is accomplished indoors in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities
• Sit, type, and look at a computer for extended periods (up to 6–9 hours per day)
• Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in written correspondence
• Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer
