Reservations Agent

About the role

RSS is seeking an experienced Reservations Agent to support an Australian client with the coordination of accommodation, tour, and dining reservations. The role focuses on managing reservation enquiries, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring a smooth and seamless booking process from initial enquiry through to confirmation.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to phone, email, and online booking enquiries promptly and professionally
• Manage reservations for accommodation, marine tours, pearl farm experiences, and dining
• Proactively convert enquiries into confirmed bookings across accommodation, tours, and dining
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable packages, upgrades, or add-ons to maximize revenue and guest experience
• Meet or exceed individual and team booking targets and KPIs
• Build rapport with guests to encourage repeat bookings and positive word-of-mouth referrals
• Manage and respond professionally to negative feedback or complaints, ensuring timely resolution and positive guest recovery outcome
• Work collaboratively with the marketing and front-of-house teams to implement promotions and special offers
• Maintain accurate records of bookings and customer interactions in the reservation system
• Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences
