Reservations Manager - Altitude Tours

Altitude Tours is part of the Tourism Innovation Group (TIG), alongside Black NZ and Fiordland Tours and soon to be opening Tussock Ridge Alpine Soak.

The Role

We're after a Reservations Manager to keep our bookings, logistics and daily operations running smoothly. You'll work closely with guides, agents and our reservations team to make sure every guest gets where they need to be, on time and with a smile. You'll also lead a small team, so we need someone who's organised, personable, and happy to roll up their sleeves.

What You'll Be Doing

• Liaising with guides daily on pickups, drop-offs and logistics
• Keeping bookings and numbers accurate across all sites
• Handling bookings, confirmations, payments and customer enquiries
• Building strong relationships with agents, hotels and partners
• Leading large group and private bookings
• Spotting opportunities to cross-sell across our tour brands
• Training, rostering and supporting the reservations team
• Working with the operations team to ensure we are accurately resourced

About You

• Experience in reservations, tourism or hospitality
• Experience using Rezdy
• A calm head and a can-do attitude when things get busy
• Great communication skills and a genuine love of good customer service
• Team leadership experience, not afraid to get stuck in with the day to day of the reservations department
• Flexibility for weekend and after-hours work

The role is full time, 5 days a week based in our office in Gorge Road. As we operate in a dynamic tourism environment, our team operate onsite or on after hours phones, between 6AM and 9PM daily, therefore a flexible and adaptable approach to working hours is essential.
