Resident Assistant

Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Resident Assistant. In this energetic position, you will provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Observe residents for changes in condition, and report concerns promptly to the nurse
• Respond promptly to call lights and emergencies
• Encourage resident participation in activities and social engagement
• Maintain accurate documentation according to community policies and procedures
• Assist with meal service and hydration

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• CPR Certification, or willingness to obtain
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and coworkers
• Compassion, patience, reliability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
