Resident Assistant

Duties

• Provide compassionate Person-Centered care to our residents
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents’ health status is maintained
• Support residents with memory care needs, and help encourage residents in meaningful activities
• Administer medications following prescribed protocols and document all medication administration accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Operate manual handling equipment safely to assist with resident transfers and prevent injury during caregiving tasks
• Help serve nutritious meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and assist residents with meal consumption when necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards

Experience

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly desirable
• Follow individual service plans, while maintaining accurate and timely documentation
• Hands-on experience working with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments in home or community care setting
• Proven ability to handle heavy lifting safely while providing resident support

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
