Duties

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Observe for any changes in health or behavior, reporting findings promptly to healthcare professionals
• Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, using specialized techniques to promote safety and comfort
• Assist Servers to serve residents nutritious meals and snacks tailored to individual dietary requirements while maintaining cleanliness in kitchen areas
• Engage residents through meaningful activities, socialization, and group programs that enhance well-being and community involvement

Skills

• Proven experience in assisted living or long-term care environments with a focus on geriatrics or senior care
• Strong understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, memory care strategies, and behavioral management techniques
• Knowledge of vital signs measurement and safe patient lifting practices
• Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles for transportation needs when required
• Experience working with individuals with developmental or cognitive disabilities in residential or community settings
• Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and maintain safety standards during resident care activities
