Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor vital signs and observe health changes to report to nursing staff promptly
• Provide personal care with dignity and respect while adhering to safe patient lifting practices and manual handling protocols
• Engage residents through meaningful activities, socialization, and group programs to promote mental stimulation and community involvement
• Maintain cleanliness of resident areas, assist with meal preparation, and support overall household routines to foster a comfortable living space

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly desirable
• Hands-on experience assisting with ADLs and providing personal or home & community care is preferred
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in safe patient lifting practices is a plus
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments enhances your ability to provide tailored support
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks confidently ensures resident safety and comfort
