Resident Assistant

Job Summary

3rd shift 10:30p-6:30a part-time

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to our residents. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in our assisted living community. This position requires a nurturing demeanor, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for all residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
• Monitor resident health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
• Engage residents in social activities and encourage participation in community events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident living spaces and common areas.
• Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Support residents through tailored activities.
• Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.

Experience

• Previous experience in senior care, or home community care is preferred.
• Familiarity with assisted living practices is highly desirable.
• Experience working with residential communities is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• A commitment to maintaining a clean environment and adhering to safety protocols.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour

• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
