Regents Garden Four Seasons in Booragoon is looking for a Resident Concierge to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a rewarding, people-focused role where you will build meaningful relationships with residents and their families and make a positive difference to their experience every day.

We are looking for someone with hands-on residential aged care experience and a recognised personal care qualification who understands the needs of older people and can bring that knowledge, compassion and confidence to a broader resident-focused role.

You will be visible and actively engaged throughout the facility - welcoming and supporting new residents, regularly checking in with residents and families, assisting with daily activities, and helping ensure our residents feel comfortable, valued and at home.

About the Role

As our Resident Concierge, you will be a friendly, reassuring and trusted point of contact for residents, families and visitors.

Your experience as a Personal Care Worker will help you understand residents' individual needs, communicate effectively with families and work closely with our care team to provide a positive resident experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting new residents and their families throughout the admission and settling-in process.
• Building strong relationships with residents through regular visits, greetings and check-ins.
• Assisting with resident daily activities, dining experiences and helping maintain a high standard of service at mealtimes.
• Responding to resident and family queries or concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
• Supporting and participating in resident activities and, at times, helping to run activities.
• Working closely with management, care staff and other team members to enhance resident satisfaction and experience.
• Demonstrating leadership and initiative when assisting staff and supporting residents.
• Helping create a warm, welcoming and positive environment for everyone who comes through our doors.

Hours and Availability

This is a permanent part-time position working a minimum of 30 hours per week, with the following roster:

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
9:30am – 5:30pm

Please note: Applicants must be available to work Wednesday through Saturday. These working days are a requirement of the position.

About You

We are looking for someone who is professional, approachable and compassionate, with hands-on experience working as a Personal Care Worker in residential aged care.

You understand the needs of older people and are confident engaging with residents, families and care staff in a warm, respectful and professional manner.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), Aged Care, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Previous practical experience working as a Personal Care Worker/Carer in residential aged care.
• A sound understanding of the needs of older people and the residential aged care environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A friendly, professional and service-focused approach.
• Confidence in communicating and building positive relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Compassion, patience and a genuine interest in supporting residents and enhancing their day-to-day experience.
• Good problem-solving skills and the confidence to take initiative when required.
• The ability and legal right to work at least 30 hours per week or 60 hours per fortnight.
• Availability to work the required Wednesday to Saturday roster.

Please note: This position requires both a recognised aged care/personal care qualification and previous hands-on carer experience. Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be suitable for the role. Employer sponsorship is not available for this position.
