Resident Doctor / General Practitioner

Klinik Faizal & Rakan-Rakan is a well-established 24-hour GP clinic with over 30 years of service in Johor Bahru, now operating two branches to better serve the community. We are looking for a committed Resident Doctor to join our team and grow with us, providing quality primary care to the community while building a solid and sustainable medical career.

• Competitive Salary: Base RM 9,000 – RM 12,000; total monthly earnings up to RM 12,000 – RM 17,000 including incentives and monthly performance bonus.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage outpatient & acute cases
• Provide primary care across all age groups
• Perform minor procedures (suturing, wound care, etc.)
• Educate patients on treatment & preventive care
• Collaborate with a strong support team
• Work 7-hour shifts on a structured rotation (day, evening, night) with fair allocation of nights and rotational weekend off to support 24-hour service coverage.

4. Requirements

Must-Have

• MBBS / MD / MBBCh (recognized)
• Valid MMC registration and Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
• Completed compulsory service with KKM
• Strong sense of clinical responsibility and patient safety

Good-to-Have

• Experience in primary care, emergency, or outpatient settings

• Confidence in independent decision-making with appropriate escalation

• Interest in any of the following areas:

  • Minor surgical procedures and circumcision
  • Ultrasound (including O&G 4D/5D)
  • Family planning
  • Joint injections and pain management
  • Pediatric care and development monitoring

• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (additional languages are an advantage)
