About the Opportunity

Quantum Care Place of El Dorado Hills is seeking a dependable Resident Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for residents traveling to appointments, outings, and other destinations.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents safely using company vehicles, including larger vehicles when assigned.
• Coordinate transportation schedules with residents, families, staff, appointments, and community outings.
• Assist residents with mobility needs, including pushing wheelchairs when needed.
• Maintain trip logs, mileage records, vehicle-maintenance records, and other required documentation.
• Conduct or support vehicle safety inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Keep vehicles clean, safe, and ready for service.
• Provide patient, respectful customer service while protecting resident privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement and driving record that meet company policy requirements.
• Experience driving larger vehicles preferred; CDL requirements, if any, must be confirmed for the assigned vehicle and duties.
• Previous transportation, healthcare, senior living, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, punctuality, and calm judgment.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and assist residents with mobility as needed.
• Ability to maintain composure and safety awareness in a changing environment.
