What they need
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Provide desktop support to students, faculty, and staff on various software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Google Drive.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues with laptops, desktops, printers, and other peripherals using troubleshooting techniques and knowledge of IT infrastructure.
- Manage ticketing system to track and resolve technical issues reported by users in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to identify root causes of recurring issues and implement solutions.
Job Requirements :
- 0-1 year of experience in desktop support or related field.
- Strong understanding of basic computer hardware components (CPU, RAM, Storage) and networking fundamentals (LAN).
- Proficiency in ticketing tools like JIRA or similar platforms.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
