Working hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

About the role

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to work at a customer site in Rayong. You will be the main contact for product quality matters, investigate issues with customer engineers, and coordinate timely solutions. This role suits someone with automotive industry experience who communicates confidently with customers and can work independently on site.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for customer product and quality issues.
• Investigate non-conformities at customer sites and prepare investigation reports.
• Coordinate containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
• Prepare work instructions, quality analyses, 8D reports, and action plans as required.
• Monitor product quality issues and work with internal teams to minimize customer impact and additional quality costs.
• Attend customer meetings as the company representative and follow up on new requirements or product changes.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, another engineering discipline, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Around 2–3 years of experience in the automotive industry preferred.
• Experience as a Resident Engineer, Customer Quality Engineer, or Quality Engineer is an advantage.
• Knowledge of automotive standards, quality processes, 8D, non-conformity management, root cause analysis, containment, and corrective actions.
• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and customer coordination skills.
• Purchasing or audit experience is an advantage.
• Own a car and be willing to work at customer sites in Rayong and travel overseas when required.
