Resident engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Test Engineer with expertise in vehicle testing, acceptance testing, system testing, and issue reproduction. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with tools such as DET, CAN, LIN, and Ethernet tools, along with proficiency in HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing methodologies. Additionally, familiarity with EPS (Electric Power Steering) calibration of vehicles and troubleshooting any steering wheel issues is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle testing to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Perform acceptance testing to verify the functionality and performance of automotive systems.
• Execute system testing procedures to identify potential issues and ensure optimal system operation.
• Proficiently use DET, CAN, LIN, and Ethernet tools for effective testing and diagnostics.
• Utilize HIL testing methodologies to simulate real-world conditions and evaluate system responses.
• Perform EPS calibration for vehicles to achieve desired steering performance.
• Investigate and troubleshoot any steering wheel issues reported during testing.
• Demonstrate a functional understanding of microprocessors and proficiency in the "C" programming language.
• Utilize Canope tool knowledge for efficient testing and analysis tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in automotive engineering with a focus on testing and validation.
• Hands-on experience with DET, CAN, LIN, and Ethernet tools.
• Proficiency in HIL testing methodologies.
• Experience with EPS calibration of vehicles is highly desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to reproduce and address issues effectively.
• Functional understanding of microprocessors and proficiency in "C" programming language.
• Familiarity with Canope tool for testing and analysis purposes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
