Resident Engineer (RE)

Responsibilities:

• Monitor site progress, quality, workmanship, and safety performance.
• Review and verify method statements, shop drawings, material submissions, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Conduct site inspections, witness testing and commissioning activities, and maintain accurate inspection records.
• Ensure compliance with LTA, HDB, PUB, SP PowerGrid, BCA, and MOM WSH requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, utility agencies, and relevant authorities to resolve technical and construction issues.
• Attend technical, coordination, and progress meetings and provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in project completion, testing, commissioning, defect rectification, and final handover.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification recognized in Singapore.
• Minimum 0 - 5 years of relevant site supervision experience in LTA, HDB, PUB, SP   PowerGrid (SPPG), or other major infrastructure projects.
• Experience in supervising Roads, bridges, viaducts, tunnels, building residential developments, Water supply, sewerage, drainage works, Power cable installation, substations, utility infrastructure, Deep excavation, Earth Retaining and Stabilising Structures (ERSS), piling, reinforced concrete, and utility diversion works
• Strong knowledge of the relevant authority's specifications, BCA regulations, Singapore Standards, and MOM Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements. A
• Ability to review and assess shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and construction programmes.
