Resident Experience Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Resident Experience Assistant to join our vibrant senior living community. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for residents, fostering a warm and engaging environment that promotes well-being, independence, and community connection. Your energetic approach will help coordinate resident activities, support individualized care plans, and build meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Duties

• Plan, coordinate, and execute engaging resident events and recreational activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities
• Assist with daily resident needs, including memory care and dementia support, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
• Collaborate with caregiving teams to develop personalized activity programs aligned with residents’ preferences and health conditions
• Build strong rapport with residents through active listening, companionship, and personalized interaction
• Manage schedules for resident activities, appointments, and community outings to ensure seamless daily operations
• Communicate effectively with residents’ families regarding activity participation and upcoming events
• Support the development of programs that enhance socialization, cognitive stimulation, and overall quality of life for residents

Experience

• Prior experience working with seniors in assisted living or long-term care settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia care, geriatrics, and memory support techniques is essential
• Demonstrated experience in event planning or recreational therapy within senior communities
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with residents, families, team members, and external partners
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for scheduling, documentation, and program planning purposes
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in home & community care environments is advantageous
• Proven ability to develop innovative programs tailored to aging issues counseling and senior care needs

Pay: $18.00 per hour
